既に報じられているように昨年偉大なシンガーの一人であるロニー・ジェームズ・ディオが他界しました。私にとっては若かりし頃夢中になったレインボーの尊敬すべきボーカリストです。キル・ザ・キングのような激しい曲も良かったですが当時レインボーに夢中になるきっかけになった曲はスティル・アイム・サッドという曲です。当時の日本の音楽誌にはロック界の北島三郎という表現もされていました（これについては賛否両論あると思いますが）。
こうして少しずつ失われていくものがあり時代は変化していきます。
音楽だけではないのですが、ご本人が亡くなられてもそのすばらしい作品は後世に残ります。　私もロニーに経緯を表しつつ何か受け継がれるものを残したいと思うのです。
今回はバビロンの城門をカバーしました。私はシンガーではないので歌は全くダメですが、思い入れが強い曲なので（そして私の廻りに歌を頼めるすぐれたシンガーもいないので）一人で全部を演奏しました。

As you maybe know, one of the great singer "Ronnie James Dio" passed away last year. When I was young, I was crazy about the music of Rainbow, and the singer was Ronnie. And I respect his vocal. The vocal style of hard song (such a "Kill The King") also great. But opportunity to fever was song called "Still I'm Sad". In 1970's Japanese music magazine explained him as Mr. Saburo Kitajima (who is famous Japanese singer) of the rock music. I don't know if it's correct explanation. There are arguments both for and against the explanation. Age will be changed while losing various things. There is work of awesome art for long time, even if the author passed away. I show respect for him, and I want to  create such a great music which listener loves it for long time. I played "Gates of Babylon" as tribute to Ronnie. I'm sorry for my poor vocal because I'm not singer. But I do not have great singer, and I wanted to complete the music by myself.
 

クリスマス、年末年始の行事で慌ただしい今日この頃、皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
今日は自宅にて録音した音源です。
ちょっとブログをさぼっていたらいつの間にかPodcastで私の音楽を聞いて下さる方が急激に増えていたのでちょっとびっくりしています。
今回は私の尊敬するイングヴェイとマイクヴェセーラが産んだカッコイイバラードForever Oneをコピーしてみました。
私はボーカリストではないので歌がへたくそですが、この曲は全て一人で演奏したかったのと、ボーカリストが見つからない理由で全部自分で演奏しました。マイク、怒らないでね？下手だけど。
皆様が素敵なクリスマスと新年を迎える事ができますように。

Hello, how's going on holiday season?
I uploaded music which I recorded in my studio.
I found that some people listening my music via Postcat, and it was great supplies for me.
I played music called Forever One which played by Yngwie and Michael, as tribute to them.
I'm not vocalist so there is poor vocal on the music. But I do not have good singer. And I wanted to play the music alone.
Do not angry Michael please. ha ha ha.

さて、またまた久しぶりです。
9月には中国の無錫、10月にはアメリカのナッシュビルに行ってきました。
毎度の事ですが中国への旅は疲れました。
アメリカは初めに訪問した際は大きな感激があったのですが回を重ねる毎に「こんなもんか」って思うようになり、その後色々な国を訪れ、最近になってまた（なぜか）面白いというか居心地の良い「心地よさ」を感じています。今回の渡米ではスケジュールがハードで個人的に行きたいところに立ち寄る事はできませんでした。最近の渡米では南部を旅する事が多く良くも悪くもリアルアメリカを感じています。さてさて、そんな忙しさと思い出を振り返りながらTrance Gardenをデジタルリマスターしましたので貼っておきます。良い時代になりました。自宅でマスタリングまでできるなんて。　映像は初めてアメリカ本土を訪れた時のものです。

I could not update for long time.
I went to Wuxi of China in Sep, and went to Nashville of TN, USA in Oct.
I always feel tired when I trip to China, I don't know why.
I felt big impression on first trip to America. But I could not feel the feeling after I tripped to America many times.
And then, after I tripped to many other countries, I restarted to feel interesting for American culture, and it's comfortable for me.
My trip to Nashville was very hard schedule therefore I couldn't go to my interested  place.
From last year, I traveled south part of America. (First time, I could not understand the English because of their pronunciation.) And I felt real America.  
At this timing, I re-mastered a music called "Trance Garden". It's amazing age, because we can mastering at home studio.
Movie was recorded in Chicago and Sheboygan, and it was my first trip to main land of America.

久しぶりに曲を作ったのでブログを書きます。
いつも曲をUPしているので、新しいネタ（曲）がないと何となく書きづらくなってしまいました。さて、近況ですが4月に再びアメリカのルイジアナに行ってきまして、（今回も）過酷な旅をしました。あと、7月に再びアメリカに行ってきます。
ビッグニュースとしまして（書いて良いのかな？）、マイク　ヴェセーラさんと個人的にコンタクトを持ちまして定期的にメールのやり取りをしています。ブログで Wantedって書いちゃったからね。皆様夢は諦めない事です。いつか一緒に演奏したいです。彼はアメリカとドイツでライヴを行ったようで、ビデオも拝見しましたが（ルックスはおじさんになってましたが）すげーカッコイイです。
では、久しぶりに曲を書きましたので貼らせて頂きます。曲が長く、MP3でも規定の容量を超えてしまうので動画でアップします。泣いてね？　"Too Sad To Cry" 「泣くには悲しすぎる」っていう曲です。私はボーカリストではないのですが、Michaelのためにヴォーカルの席は空けておかなくてはならないので、今回もへたくそながら歌いました。

Hi there, I could not update my Blog, because I did not compose new song. I went to LA in April, and I will visit there again in July.
I composed a song called "Too Sad To Cry".   Because I'm not singer, I'm sorry for poor vocal. Play loud!!!.

今回は皆様ご存じ??? イングヴェイのBlack Starを弾いてみました。冒頭のガットギターはスタッフォードのエレガットをコンデンサーマイクで集音したもの。

ドラムマシンはZOOMをコルグのキーボードからMIDIで操作。ベースはBCリッチのモッキンバード（これはとってもロックな音が出せるとても良いベースギターです）。

ベースアンプはマーシャルのMB30の音ををラインとマイクで録ってミックス。このアンプも凄く使える！！！ギターはトリビュートと言う事でフェンダーUSAの最新のイングヴェイモデルと、ジョンクルーズ氏が製作した57年ビンテージ、フェンダージャパンカスタムオーダーの71年モデル（ライトウエイトアッシュのボディーにメイプルネック）等です。

アンプはマーシャルの73年製をダイナミックマイクとコンデンサーマイクでミックス。エフェクターは本人同様にDODのOverdrive Preamp　250グレー、ローランドのDC-20をバッファアンプとして使いました。

そんなこんなでPlay Loudでお願いします。

At this time, I played "Black Star" as Tribute to Yngwie J Malmsteen.
I used classical guitar of Stafford at opening part of the music. I recorded it by condenser microphone. I used drum machine of ZOOM via MIDI from keyboard of KORG. I played bass guitar of Mockingbird by B.C. Rich. Bass amp was MBB OF Marshall. The combination of the bass guitar and the amplifier makes excellent rock sound. I mixed sound from "line out" and condenser microphone. Because of tribute to Yngwie J Malmsteen, I used three Fender guitars that signature model by USA, 71 model by Fender Japan custom shop, and combination of 57 body (by John Cruz) with neck from Yngwie model.
I used early 73's Marshall for all of the guitars.

10月はアメリカを旅しました、再び。
今度はミネアポリス、ミルウォーキー、メンフィス、モンロー、アトランタと転々としました。毎日のように移動でしたので気候も目まぐるしく変わりとても疲れました。南部のルイジアナ州への旅は始めてだったのでちょっと不安でした。でも地元の人はみんな親切な人ばかりで大変すばらしい場所でした。ただ、雨の凄さには驚きました。モンローの空港、びっくりするくらい小さく、飛行機が出発する30分前に空港へ行っても余裕で間に合う感じでした。
久しぶりにアメリカにいる友達とも連絡をとりました。

どんな職業でも不安や悩みはつきものですが・・・。「これまでもやってこれたじゃないか」って思いながら前進するのみです。みんな、がんばろうね。

I went to America in October, again.
I traveled to Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Memphis, Monroe, and Atlanta at this time.
Because weather changed everyday by the location change, I got very tired.
It's my first experience to trip to south point of America, therefore I was nervous to trip to Monroe. But all of local people were really friendly and nice.
I saw very strong rain in Monroe, and supplies to it.
Airport of Monroe is very small. So I could take the flight even if I arrived 30 min before the flight.

All of us have nervous and worry on any kind of job, you know.
I will try to think that "I did it till now" (therefore it's OK from now on too).
Because we have to progress to next good step.

前回の「プロレス」のコンセプトで「トリック」という曲を作ってみました。日本でいうとタイガーマスク、獣神サンダーライガー、等々多くのトリッキーなメキシコの匂いがするすばらしいレスラーがいますね？海外だと619！「ミステリオ」なんかかっこいいですね。
この曲ではギターの録音にアンプを使わずに某社のシュミレーターを使いましたが個人的には納得していません。やはりアンプからの音を録音したほうが断然良い！＝古い人間なもので。

Same as concept of previous blog, I composed a music called [TRICK].
There are great pro-wrestler in Japan. Tiger Mask, Jushin Thunder Liger as example. In USA, there is Rey Mysterio. Yes, 619!!! That's cool.
I didn't use amplifier for the recording of this music. At this time, I used amp simulator. But I could not get good result. I love real sound from large amplifier. Anyway, check it out for the [ Trick ].

こんにちは本当に久しぶりです。
先日海外のプロレスの番組を見ていたら、実況中継のアナウンスで「Burning Desire」という言葉を連発していた試合があり、その後その言葉が頭から離れなくなってしまいました。で、なんだか選手の入場テーマのようなインスト・・・名付けて 「Burning Desire」です。

Hi there.
When I saw TV show of Pro-Wrestling, reporter repeated word of [ Burning Desire] many times. And I could not forget the word.
Then, I composed the music something like theme-song of pro-wrestler called [Burning Desire].

今年はどんな１年でしたか？私にとっては忙しく、大変な年でした。
2009年が皆様にとってすばらしい年になりますように、それからメリークリスマス。

以前、このブログを訪れてくださった方からリクエストを頂きました。
Ex-Dangerのライブ音源からI'm just freemanを見つけました。
このライブは横浜のシェルガーデンというライブハウスで行われた際の演奏で
歌詞は英語のバージョンです。
ライブハウスの方にお願いしてミキサーから録音していただいたのですが、
カセットテープでの記録でしたので、音質は良くないです。
昔、ライブを楽しんでいただいた方が懐かしく思っていただければと思います。

How was this year? For me, it was really busy year. And I met some heavy situation.
I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year on 2009.
In the past, I have received request from one person who wanted to listen a song called "I'm just freeman" of Ex-Danger. And I just found old tape.
We played the music at Yokohama Shell Garden. We had two version for this music and this one is English version.
I asked staff of the live house to record our performance via the mixer.
It was recorded to compact cassette tape, so sound quality is not good.
I hope someone to enjoy the music who knew our old (and good) age.

家の中のテープを整理していたら、古いライブの音源が見つかりました。
これは私がEx-Dangerに入って始めてのツアーだったように記憶しています。
ツアーに出発する少し前に、キーボードプレーヤーの方が脱退されたので、4人で行ったツアーでした。どうやってキーボードの音をカバーするか考えた末、ギターシンセを使う事にしました。このツアーは私にとっては色々な意味で過酷だった為、今でも忘れる事のできない思い出の一つです。
この演奏は横浜のシェルガーデンというライブハウスで1987年の9月30日に行われたもので、この時Tyrant into the westのプロデューサーのN氏も会場に足を運んでくれた事を覚えています。カッコ良いブーツを履いておられて、どちらがメンバーか分からない感じの風貌でした。
ライブハウスの方が出番を伝える為に、楽屋に電話で連絡された際も「Yes！」って、電話をとられたN氏の事を、田舎者の私はただ呆然と見ていました。
ライブの録音はライブハウスのミキサーからカセットテープに記録して頂きましたので、音質は良くないです（なんだかボーカルがセンターになっていないのが不思議です）。かぐせん氏のベースギターはやっぱり最高で、太くカッコ良い音でガンガン弾きまくっています！ベースギターの音って「その違い」が分かりにくいのですが、経験を積んでくるとその善し悪しが見えてきます。リミッターの限界を超えた箇所は音がクリップしてしまっています。そしてデカイ体で動き回るもんだから凄く迫力があります（ライブの音なので私もかぐせん氏もミストーンがありますが・・・）。機会が有ったら再び一緒に演奏してみたいです。
この曲では残念ながら（？）ギターシンセを使っていません。

I found old record that we did live performance.
It was my first concert tour after I joined Ex-Danger, that I believe.
Before we start the tour, Keyboard player left from the band, therefore we did the tour by 4 guys because of that. I thought how can I cover the Keyboard sound, and then I decided to use MIDI guitar to create both of keyboard and guitar sound.
It was really hard job for me, therefore I will never forget the experience.
The performance was done at Shell Garden Yokohama September 30 '1987.
And the producer (Mr. N) of "Tyrant into the west" came to the live. He wore really nice boots, and seems to be member of the band because of his fashion.
The guy of live house called us by the phone to inform time to the performance.
Mr. N caught the phone and said "Yes" with English, even if we are in Japan.
I was surprised to his act, because I was a country boy at that time.
The record was done by live house via mixer to compact cassette tape, so sound quality isn't good. It's strange because vocal isn't center position of the sound.
I reconfirmed Kagusen's bass guitar is excellent because of the big and nice real rock sound. It's difficult to know difference of "good sound" and "bad sound" of bass guitar.
But if you has many experience, you will understand it.
Sometimes you will listen clip sound because over level of limiter by the big bass sound. Kagusen is tall and always do hard action, audience enjoyed our performance because of that. (Because it is record of live performance, I and Kagusen made some miss tone.)
If I can get a opportunity to play with him again, I hope to play with big sound.
I did not use MIDI guitar on this music, by the way.
